When packing fragile items, find moving boxes that are more durable. Most moving and storage companies will sell packing supplies that include heavy grade cardboard boxes. Read the following best practices on packing fragile items:
- Find cardboard boxes that are specifically made to carry fragile items like china barrels.
- Fragile items should always use bubble wrap as a protective lining. For items such as pottery, glass vases etc. don’t overpack them in the same box.
- Leave space in between each fragile item to fill with crushed packing paper
- Always create a cushion layer at the bottom and top of the box.
